Got Stihl chainsaw running again September 24, 2023 Reviewer: Wm Joe from SC United States   My chainsaw, a Stihl 028 WB, would start but not run.  After researching the cause, it appeared that replacing the points and condenser with an ignition chip would fix it.  Ordered the chip from Lil' Red Barn, watched their "how-to" video, installed the chip and the saw started up right away and ran great.  The chip kit was shipped quickly. Worked great. April 19, 2021 Reviewer: Colby Contois from Winchendon, MA United States   Bought this to replace my points and condenser for a non running saw. Worked perfectly. Instructions are vague, just wire but all the shut off, coil and chip together. Use one of the coil bolts to hold the chip down. Was this review helpful to you?
