My faithful saw with over 20 years of hard use had finally give up the ghost. Our local dealer quoted me about $500.00 to rebuild the top end. That got me to looking for options on line when I came across the Lil' Red Barn site. I loved the Idea of replacing the motor, but was skeptical of how good things would be at such a reasonable price. I took a chance, placed the order, and the motor arrived a few days later. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and attention to detail. The swap went perfect and in a couple hours my old saw was up and running. Compression felt good, and in the few cuts I made it pulled good. I used to use it daily as a faller, and while I don't need it for that anymore, Im really happy to have it back up and running again for those occasional trees, and firewood. Thank you!
