Electronic Chip Fixed Bogging issue September 2, 2024 Reviewer: Gregory Williams from Billings, MT United States   The chip spark was much stronger than with points. 3/8" vs. 1/8". Fixed my bogging/not reving up issue. Did wish I could have mounted the chip under the flywheel but it was too big so I ended up mounting it to the upper coil screw Was this review helpful to you?

Got Stihl chainsaw running again September 24, 2023 Reviewer: Wm Joe from SC United States   My chainsaw, a Stihl 028 WB, would start but not run.  After researching the cause, it appeared that replacing the points and condenser with an ignition chip would fix it.  Ordered the chip from Lil' Red Barn, watched their "how-to" video, installed the chip and the saw started up right away and ran great.  The chip kit was shipped quickly.
