The shop down the road wanted 300 to replace the coil, "Its behind the flywheel, yada yada."  I checked out the Lil Red Barn YouTube, ordered the 40 dollar part, that is with the shipping.  Grandson and I installed it and the saw is up and running.

The electronic ignition coil worked great in repairing my old Stihl 028 WB that had no spark.  I thought it was unrepairable did the trick. The instruction video on youtube was helpful and the repair took about 30 minutes including cleaning 40 years of debris out of the flywheel/coil area. Thanks
