When there is a choice between fixing a 48 year old machine because of a broken governor spring or paying $3,000 to replace it we're talking a no-brainer decision. The new one isn't going to do anything other than spin the three cutting blades so who needs it when everything else on the old machine works perfectly? But where to get that spring? I found mine at the Lil Red Barn. I think that lawn tractor has a good chance of out living me!
