I received two chains with  a .050 drive tooth width and the saw uses a .043 width. I called and spoke with someone last week explaining this and was told he would look into it and call me back. It is Monday and still waiting ?

4 of 5 Incorrect size for 017 Stihl chainsaw Friday, December 9, 2016

This chain is listed as a replacement for, among other chainsaws, the Stihl 017.  It would not fit my saw, so I looked more closely at the specs (which, in fairness, I should have done first, but I didn't have them handy and didn't think I needed to).

My chainsaw has a blade for a 14" bar, 50 inside teeth, a pitch of 3/8", and a width of .043".  Your replacement blade is correct in all regards except it has a width of .050", which is incorrect for my Stihl 017.

Lee kindly agreed to exchange the one I am sending back for the correct model, but I still have to pay an additional $2 for return shipping, which I should not have to do.

I'm sure that the replacement blade will fit so I'm still giving your product 4 stars since I should have paid more attention when ordering.  However, your description as a replacement chain for a Stihl 017 is incorrect.
