Note: look at this filter to match your old filter, some air filters that Stihl used are no longer available and you will need conversion kit our part # ST204-NYLON-KIT here on this website.

Thanks for the prompt shipment and quality parts in the stihl 025 chainsaw rebuild kit. Everything arrived and fit except for the fuel filter. The filter you sent was paper instead of fabric 1/2 the size of the original, and the connection was too small to stay in the fuel pickup hose in the fuel tank. Is there another larger option/alternative for this model chainsaw that you can send to me?

I tried to call the phone number on the invoice to converse with someone on this problem but no one picked up, maybe because I was calling on a Friday before the holiday weekend :-).

3 of 5 Air Filter Does Not Match August 27, 2023

The air filter does not math my Stihl 021 chainsaw. My air filter it not held on with clips but is a two piece front and back filter that bolts to the throat of the carb. My saw is about 28 years old. The 021 may have been redesigned at a later date. My old air filter is not damaged (torn, etc) so I will continue using it until I can find the correct filter or redesign my saw.

All parts except the air filter fit well, the air filter is too long to fit the saw properly, everything else is fine.
