This is a suitable replacement air filter for the following chainsaw models: Stihl 029, 029 Farm Boss, 029 Super, 039, MS 290, MS 290 Farm Boss, MS 310, MS 390. Replaces OEM # 1127-120-1621 NOTE: On models 029/039 this air filter is designed for a -compensating carburetor. There is an extra hole on the backside of the air filter that will need to be plugged off before installing. Only on 029/039-- we use silicon in our shop and have tested this with excellent results.
