I received an ignition coil that doesn't work June 13, 2021 Reviewer: jack navin from boyertown, PA United States   I ordered an ignition coil for my Stihl 044. The old coil has 3 wires running from it plus the spark plug wire. The item I received has 2 wires and the spark plug wire. Also, the connectors are not correct. My ignition/kill switch requires 2 clips to attach to 2 male prongs. My wire has a bullet end. 1 wire is supposed to ground the coil to the cylinder.  I can send you pictures. I took some to get advice from an online source specializing in chain saws. I hate to give you a poor rating. If we can work this out, I'll give you a good one.
