I have a very old Stihl 028 WB chainsaw. I got it new about 35 years ago and it's been a great saw. Until about 6 years ago and it wouldn't run right. Would idle fine but when giving it gas, would bog down and die. Took it to two different Stihl dealers and they said it was too old, needed a carburetor and there are no parts available. I just couldn't throw it away so it's sat in my shop idle for 6 years. And then, I was looking on the internet and looked up carburetors for 028 WB and found Lil Red Barn had them. The on-line pics matched up with what I had so I ordered it. I got a very fast response from them and it was delivered within a few days. I put it on and it fired right up! The throttle works as it should and the saw runs good. To think I almost threw it away and two different Stihl dealers said you can't get parts. Well they were wrong! Thanks Lil Red Barn.
